Elections:

People in Government positions, the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, all ministers, Government officials should be barred from electioneering by the Election Commission. That will prevent misuse of power and also give level playing field to opposition parties.

So Vladimir Putin has taken back for Russia what Mikhail Gorbachev gave away.

The historical and contemporary justification given by him for this bloodless coup is more hilarious than rational - Protecting the Russians living in another country !

So, by the same stroke of reasoning, France can invade Quebec, Pakistan can invade Kashmir, China can invade Taiwan and Singapore,
Argentina can invade Falklands, India can invade Srilanka and so on.

What made Putin to do this blatant aggression ?
Is that the ability of that one nation to reduce the entire America to radio active waste?

I think it is otherwise.

He has been pushed to the wall in Syria and then in Ukraine by what is known as public protests against the regimes, president friendly to Russia.
The civil war in Syria continues with thousands dead and millions in refugees.
Putin is crossing his fingers over the fate his naval base in Syrian waters.
Victor Yanukovitch, has been driven away by public protests that dragged on for months,
ostensibly orchestrated by the west.

But the nightmare that drove Putin to take this confrontation is the morbid fear that Ukraine will join NATO.

He wanted to put a gun to Ukraine's head and threaten not to do it.

Now he has got the gun.

Now it is the west who ought to worry when and whether he will use the gun in Eastern Ukraine and
Moldova with the same justification as before !!

Conflict of Religions

Throughout the history of mankind, there has been a peaceful time when religious conflict resulting in war,
rebellion, massacre were absent.
Jews and Christians, Christians and Muslims, Muslims and Hindus, Hindus and Buddhists and so on...
Then the wars between Catholics and Protestants..
Wars between ancient Egypt's Pharaos and Palestinians, Jews.
Zenghish Khans plundering attacks through North West Asia, Middle East, South East Asia..
Hitlers anti-semitism and the holocaust..
Wars in the Middle East countries..
Kuwait, Iraq, Afganistan, Kashmir, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and now Philippines..

Religion is used as a tool by leaders for uniting the people to fight others.
Then the leaders become the Heads of States..

Just how much Religion has destroyed humans than enriched them, is a study that should be taken
in right earnest...

Valentine's day

The celebs of youngsters on Valentines Day has the love-depth of a mountain stream. Love has become a disposable emotion. Nobody is going to die for his/her sweetheart like Devdas and Parvathi, Romeo & Juliet, Laila & Majnun, Heer & Ranjha. Sharing of, food, pastime, travel, fun is all OK. But sharing of password, mind and body and money are NO-NO. Love is not something that drops suddenly from the sky. It is an emotion that develops slowly like a tree grows slowly. It will take months and years for the strengthening of that emotion. But it has to start first. It sprouts as a seed sprouts out of soil, when a conducive atmosphere is present with moisture in soil. The God given gender attraction is the water that stimlates the sprouts of that emotion, which, still cannot be called love. It is too feeble as a sprout. Love is a teak tree, having grown over the years, beating many storms and seasons.
Valentine's day serves as the watering day of the seeds of love.
Some plants will die in the sprouting stage; Some will be consumed by animals; Some will be destroyed by storms.
But some will defenitely survive and grow to become trees that will populate a forest.
The same thing is for human race.
That is what God has intended,- survival of the species.
HE has given the pleasure of sexual orgasm as the incentive for the species to indulge in sexual  intercourse and proliferate.
Not only survival of the species, but proliferation of species - that is what God and Nature wants!
The youths call their feelings as love, but that is not love.
That is attraction of genders for lust, camouflaged as gentle love.
Love is too strong an emotion.
Mother's love for children is the only emotion that can be called as love; instinctive, selfless, all consuming!
Other emotions, between youths, couples, friends, relatives - are all friendship, sacrifice, pity, care, affection, or simply liking each other or a combination of few of them.
So go ahead and water your sprouting plants of those emotions.
Valentines day gives an opportunity to do that.
You do not know whether your plant will grow to be a strong tree or will die as a young plant.
You have to water and see...
You have to obey nature...coz...you are part of nature..!!!

Demonstrations in Russia against Putin

There has been widespread demonstrations in Russia against Putin's United Russia party, alleging ballot tampering and stuffing in the recent DUMA elctions, in which Putin's United Russia Party's vote share has been reduced from 65% to 49%. Still United Russia retains the power, having the largest share of seats and cote share than the combined figures of the three main opposition party including the Communist Party.

The demostrations have been sparked off by the wanten comment of Hillary Clinton that the elections have been rigged. The domestic and international western press followed the cue and printed matter spreading the discontent.

Well fine, that suits Putin, who now has two shots.
One - He can showcase the demonstrations as the proof of freedom of speech and democracy in Russia.
Two - He can quote the inciting and uncalled for remarks of the Secretary of State of USA to tell the world, how the western nations are trying to disintegrate Russia, as they have done successfully to dismantle the mighty USSR by brainwashing and bribing Mikhail Gorbachev, who now lives comfortably.

The world knows that it was Putin who established order out of chaos left by Yeltchin and pulled Russia from the abysmal and begging status to almost to the economic and military power that it is now.

It is certain that Putin will be elected as President for the next 2 terms. He will defenitely take good care of the US, which is going down as a world power, challenged by China and Russia.

Putin is too shrewd a person and ruthless operator who will put down dissent and chaos with iron hand.

Too much democracy is bad for a country's dvelopment.
Eample - The massive Russian buiilt Nuclear Power Plants in India of 2000 MW at Kudankulam, which is waiting for commissioning, is stalled due to the public demonstrations against it for safety reasons. It is highly suspected that vested intersts are instigating the agitation, AFTER the plant has been built for the past 10 years.

In India, there is too much democracy. Any group of persons can block the roads, rail roads for any petty issues.
The Mullaperiar dam issue is another case, in which enraged mass of people are beating each other, without knowing the fundamendal technicalities of the dam.

Wait till Putin becomes the President.
Then Hillary Clinton will sing a different song, may be a swansong.

This is nothing but refinancing the loan given by Private Commercial Banks, bailing them out. Italy or any other debt ridden country will never be able to pay back the loan in the next 10 years, given the state of growth and level of motivation in those countries.

The lendors have lent the money knowing very well that this will happen.
This is one way of strangulating the political and economic freedom of borrowing countries. See what happened in Greece. Berlo has to resign and the entire cabinet is now chosen by the lenders.
They have to do as dictated by the lender country. Sell natural resorces such as minerals, oil producs and commodities at prices determined by the lendors.
Give lease of land and sea for military bases of lendor countries.

This is political and economic colonisation of countries.
